Digital Discos is a professional mobile disco and karaoke company, run by
myself (James Lillystone), covering the Leicester and Leicestershire area.
I have provided discos in most of the county's prestigious party and wedding venues.  My disco service includes modern disco lighting, a professional sound system, equipment set up and removal, and travel within the Leicestershire area, with no hidden charges!  To cater for you and your guests musical tastes I have a vast selection of music for all ages and tastes, and all special requests I receive before an event I will always do my utmost to accommodate, and I'll always play the music at the volume you wish.

I can provide you with a disco for any occasion including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, school discos, youth clubs, children's parties, seasonal parties, themed parties, 70s - 80s nights, etc.

For your piece of mind I have public liability insurance (P.L.I.) and all my equipment is tested for safety (PAT).  I am also C.R.B. checked as I regularly provide discos for schools.

I started DJing at parties and weddings about 14 years ago, mainly working with other people, using record decks and CD players, we had to carry hundreds of CDs and vinyl records the end of 1999 I decided it would be useful to catalogue the music so it would be easier to find half way through a party. Then in early 2000 while I was trying to find an easy way to catalogue my music a friend of mine told me about a computer program that would copy my music onto the computer as an MP3 file! and enable me to play it back when requested. As I knew you could search for files (and now music files) easily on a computer I knew this was the way forward. I purchased a new PC to store all my music on and decided to set up Digital Discos.  So for over 10 years Digital Discos has been at the forefront of new music technology, using the latest innovations to play digital copies of music. I hold a ProDub licence that allows me to play music via a computer based music system legally, this allows your song requests to be found and played quickly and easily.

Many venues will turn a disco away if they do not have Public liability insurance, PAT tested equipment and hold a ProDub licence.  Make sure the disco you book have these.

Many people have heard horror stories of people booking a disco that doesn't turn up, or turn up with unsafe or unsuitable disco equipment. I have never let a customer down!  All bookings are confirmed in writing for your piece of mind and to ensure I have the correct details for your party.  I also only use modern reliable equipment that looks very neat, tidy and professional!
